A high performance purpose made storm proof window manufactured exclusively by Fletcher Joinery to precise standards. The window has the natural beauty, feel and strength of timber but with many of the features normally associated with UPVC windows including: multi-point locking, vented double glazed units (for prolonged sealed unit life) and stainless steel friction hinges.
These are made of one or more movable panels, or "sashes", that form a frame to hold the panes of glass. The window panels are opened by sliding vertically, or horizontally in a style known as a "Yorkshire light".
Mouldings are pieces of decorative shaped timber used in buildings to enhance the appearance of the rooms. These include skirting boards, door architraves, dado rails, picture rails and covings. There are thousands of different mouldings, ranging from simple designs to very elaborate ones.
It is often very difficult to find a match for existing mouldings "off the shelf" or at a timber or builders merchant. This is where Fletcher Joinery can assist by copying your moulding to the exact specification.
We can also manufacture window and door components such as cill sections, sash profiles, frame or door sections for repairs or replacements, all to your sizes and specification.
Our briquettes are manufactured on our premises from our recycled waste timber, as stated in our Environmental Policy. We sell these for fuel to help reduce the number of trees felled for logs.
The briquettes are 100% untreated mixed wood shavings, suitable for wood fires and wood burning stoves.
This highly efficient fuel product has a very low moisture content and will produce more heat than dried logs.

We have recently bought a CNC machine. This has opened up new lines of work, as it is incredibly useful for anything shaped including round, elliptical and 3-centre arches. It has also made us more competitive for sheet work which, until now, we have not been set up for.
